Scotland’s Most Expensive Street?

A recent study has named this Edinburgh address as Scotland’s most expensive street.

Ann Street, Stockbridge

Ann Street in Stockbridge is Scotland’s most expensive Street according to the latest study by the Bank of Scotland, with the average house costing £1.7 million.

The same report shows that the 10 most expensive streets are all in Edinburgh, with only one street outside of the Lothians making the top 25.

It’s important to note that the study is based on individual streets where there have been at least five transactions over the period between January 2017 and September 2022, therefore omitting some of Edinburgh’s most exclusive addresses where property rarely comes up for sale.

Streets where there are properties which have been converted into apartments will have a much lower average value also, which will skew the results.

In my next blog post I will be sharing my own research and answering the question as to whether Ann Street is really Edinburgh’s Most Expensive Street.

Let me know in the comments which street you think will come out on top.
